Egyptian warnings issued by Cairo about the danger of continuing military escalation in the Gaza Strip, stressing its condemnation of targeting defenseless civilians.
This came during a phone call that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received from his American counterpart, Joe Biden, discussing the joint efforts undertaken by Egypt, Qatar and the United States to calm the situation in the Gaza Strip, reach a ceasefire, exchange detainees, and implement humanitarian aid.

While Sisi warned of the danger of continuing military escalation and targeting of civilians, he affirmed his country’s complete condemnation of targeting unarmed civilians in violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions.

The UAE Ministry of Defense announced the launch of Operation “Birds of Goodness” to drop humanitarian and relief aid by aircraft of the UAE and Egyptian air forces onto the northern Gaza Strip.
