Israeli Channel 13 revealed that reserve soldiers discharged from service were selling military equipment they received as donations, pointing to the increasing demand from Israelis to acquire firearms.
The Israeli channel published a report showing large numbers of demobilized reserve soldiers advertising on social media sites offering military equipment such as military helmets, armor, and even military clothing for sale.
Channel 13 said that what angers many Israelis is that this equipment was originally donated to these soldiers.
She pointed out that since the outbreak of the war and the recruitment of more than 300,000 reserve soldiers, which is the largest in the history of Israel, there has been a severe shortage of equipment, especially means of protection such as armor and helmets.
