A Russian missile strike, on Wednesday, targeted the coastal city of Odessa on the Black Sea near the convoy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, where he was meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The Washington Post reported that Zelensky and members of the Greek delegation were unharmed, even though the missile fell only about 152 meters away, Greek officials told the Protothema news outlet.
Zelensky and Mitsotakis were visiting the port of Odessa at around 10:40 a.m., and air raid sirens could be heard. Then the explosion occurred within minutes.”
He again demanded an air defense system
Then, Zelensky told reporters: “You see who we are dealing with. They don't care where they strike. I know there were casualties today. I don't know all the details yet, but I know there are victims.”
He added: “Whether they are military personnel, civilians, or international guests, it does not matter to these people. Either they have lost their minds or they do not control the actions of their army. This confirms our need to defend ourselves, and the best way is through an air defense system.” .

While the Ukrainian State Broadcasting Corporation quoted Mitsotakis as saying, “We heard the sound of sirens and explosions that were very close to us. We did not have time to go to a safe place.”
