Russian media reported, on Friday, that at least 12 people were killed and 35 others injured following a shooting and explosion in a concert hall near the capital, Moscow.
Russian RIA Novosti news agency reported that several gunmen opened fire on a concert hall in Moscow, wounding a number of people.
She added that at least three people wearing combat uniforms opened fire from weapons they were in possession of.
The official TASS news agency also reported that the shooting took place in a hall in Crocus, on the western edge of the Russian capital.
Several other Russian media outlets reported the shooting, saying that the hall caught fire. A video clip broadcast on Russian messaging app channels showed huge columns of black smoke rising above the building.
