An earthquake measuring 6.5 Richter strikes the northern coast of Indonesia

The Indonesian Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysical Authority reported today, Tuesday, that an earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale struck the northern Molucca Sea off Indonesia.
In a statement, the authority ruled out the occurrence of tsunami waves as a result of the earthquake that occurred at a depth of 10 km.
