Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi said that his country summoned Iran's ambassador to protest the Iranian statements, which he said represented interference in the Kingdom's internal affairs.
According to Reuters, in statements he made to the state-owned Al-Mamlaka TV, Al-Safadi referred to statements published by Iranian official media in recent days, which carried a warning that Jordan would be the next target if it cooperated with Israel in confronting Iran.
