117 thousand evacuated in Kazakhstan due to floods

The Ministry of Emergencies in Kazakhstan announced on Wednesday the evacuation of about 117,000 people due to floods.
The ministry said in a statement that about 16,000 have already returned to their homes, with water receding in some areas.
She added that evacuations continued in the regions of North Kazakhstan, Aktobe and West Kazakhstan.
