Heavy exchange of fire between Israel and Hezbollah

The Lebanese Hezbollah group said it fired dozens of rockets at an Israeli border town on Wednesday, while sources in Lebanon reported that Israel launched intensive air strikes on a Lebanese border town following the escalation of violence over the past few days.
It is the worst hostilities between Israel and Iran-aligned Hezbollah in nearly two decades since the outbreak of war in Gaza last October, raising fears of the risk of a broader and more destructive conflict between the two heavily armed rivals.
