A member of the Iranian search team that found the plane of the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi revealed, on Wednesday, new details about the incident.
Mohsen Hashemnejad said that the presidential plane crashed as a result of its collision with a mountain near the Varzagan area.
He added that he discovered two bodies with severe burns, another partially burned, and another with serious injuries and fractures.
He continued: “A little distance away, the body of the imam of the Friday prayers in Tabriz, Muhammad Ali Al Hashem, was found, who died due to internal bleeding, pointing out that the plane’s crew was exposed to the greatest degree of damage.
