The Arab-Chinese statement denounced the policy of starving the Palestinian people and exposing them to famine, noting that the deadly siege to which the Palestinians are subjected cuts off all means of life in the Gaza Strip.

This came in a joint statement issued by the work of the tenth session of the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum, in Beijing, today, Thursday, according to the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”.

The statement condemned the continued Israeli aggression targeting the Palestinians, calling for a comprehensive and effective implementation of the relevant resolutions issued by the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly, especially UN Security Council Resolution No. 2728.

The statement also called for joint efforts to bring about a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip as soon as possible. It also called for finding a comprehensive, just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue, denouncing the Israeli aggression against the city of Rafah, the bombing of displaced persons’ tents, the closure of the crossings and attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinian people.

The war in the Gaza Strip has killed more than 36,000 Palestinians since October 7, in addition to wounding about 82,000 others.
