Next Saturday, Egypt will host a regional and international summit to discuss the future of the Palestinian issue and developments in the situation in Gaza, in light of the tense conditions on the Israeli-Palestinian front.
The decision to host the summit comes after the Egyptian National Security Council announced, during its meeting “Sunday”, headed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Egypt’s intention to extend an invitation to host an international regional summit in order to address developments and the future of the Palestinian issue.
Egypt called on Sunday to hold a regional and international summit on the “Palestinian issue,” according to a statement published by the Egyptian presidency. This call was issued at the conclusion of a meeting held by the Egyptian National Security Council, headed by Sisi.
