An international warning about the situation in Gaza

The United Nations warned on Tuesday that Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip are crowded into a smaller area than ever before.
She pointed out that basic life-saving materials had run out, and called for a humanitarian truce to allow aid to arrive.
Joyce Msuya, Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator, said at a meeting held by Arab envoys in the Strip that estimates indicate that up to one million people have fled their homes to other parts of Gaza.
