America says the Rafah crossing may open for foreigners to leave Gaza today
The US Embassy in Tel Aviv said that the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip may open today, Saturday, indicating the possibility of foreign nationals being able to leave the besieged Palestinian Strip.
She added in a post on social media that she had “received information” indicating that the Rafah crossing would open at ten in the morning (0700 GMT), and continued, “We do not know to what extent it will remain open for foreign citizens to leave Gaza.”
