The Israeli National Security Council on Saturday called on the country's citizens to leave Jordan and Egypt immediately and to refrain from traveling to Morocco.
The Israeli occupation army revealed, on Friday, that the Emergency Authority of the Ministry of Defense announced the activation of a plan to evacuate the residents of the town of Kiryat Shmona, near the Lebanese border, to guest houses funded by the state.
The occupation army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, said on the “X” platform: “The activation of the plan was approved by Defense Minister Yoav Galant,” noting that the Home Front Command informed the mayor of the decision a short while ago.
Adraee explained that “the plan will be managed by the local authority, the Ministry of Tourism and the National Emergency Authority of the Ministry of Defense.”
According to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, the town of Kiryat Shmona was subjected to heavy bombardment on Thursday by members of Hezbollah.
Clashes are escalating between Hezbollah and Israel on the border between Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories, amid calls from countries for their citizens to leave the Arab country, as there are fears of an escalation of the situation between the two parties, coinciding with the escalation of the war in Gaza.
