Today, Al-Mamdara police seized a quantity of hashish following a raid on the apartment of one of the promoters in the old Al-Mamdara neighborhood in Sheikh Othman District.

The Director of the Al-Mamdara Police, Lieutenant Colonel Salah Al-Koni, stated that after coordination and gathering of information and the participation of the drug control and community committees in Al-Mamdara, the Al-Mamdara Police carried out a raid on an apartment in the old Al-Mamdara area, where a person accused of drug trafficking named (H.M.A.S.) lived. Where 3 and a half kilograms of narcotic hashish were found.

Lieutenant Colonel Al-Koni appreciated the efforts of the officers of the Investigation and Anti-Narcotics Department and the community committees for their hard work in combating negative phenomena and contraband in the Al-Mamdara region, reiterating his thanks and gratitude to the citizens who cooperated with the police, and their constant keenness to fight the drug scourge that threatens the lives of society.
