The meeting touched on the Authority’s efforts to control the process of fishing and exports, including examining and monitoring the prices of fish products in accordance with the laws, implementing a number of fish landing center projects in the southern governorates with the support of donors, addressing the difficulties facing fishermen, and facilitating the procedures of companies specialized in fishing and selling.
The President of the National Assembly praised the level of work and efforts made by the Authority in protecting fish wealth throughout the southern governorates despite the difficulties and obstacles it faces, stressing the support of the Southern Transitional Council for the Authority in implementing all its plans and programs, as it is an essential pillar of economic development and wealth preservation.
