The Minister of State and Governor of Aden, Ahmed Lamlas, discussed today, Tuesday, with the head of the Tax Authority, Jamal Sorour, ways to develop the tax collection process in the capital, Aden.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials, including the Director of the Tax Office in Aden, Abdul Hakim Maoun, and the Director of the Finance Office, Mustafa Al-Shairi.
The meeting discussed the positive results of networking for the collection process, in addition to the challenges facing the workflow.
Several decisions were taken, including prohibiting the rental of headquarters for tax offices in the directorates, accelerating the acceptance of contracts in the online system, and solving the problem of staff shortage by redistributing employees.
He also approved holding periodic meetings and submitting monthly reports clarifying the strengths and weaknesses.
