In an escalation of international pressure on the Houthi militias, the G7 demanded an immediate halt to their escalatory measures in the region.
This demand came in a joint statement issued by the defense ministers of the seven countries during their meeting in Naples.
They stressed the need to stop Iran’s support for the Houthis and Hezbollah.
The statement also called for the immediate release of the ship Galaxy Leader and its crew.
