The Southern Transitional Council rejects any attempts to reproduce the previous regime and reveals widespread corruption

The administrative body of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council affirmed, in its regular meeting, its firm adherence to the southern issue and the right of the people of the south to self-determination, and its categorical rejection of any attempts to marginalize or harm this issue.
The Commission stressed that any movements aimed at reproducing the forces that contributed to the invasion of the south in 1994 are miserable attempts that will not succeed in achieving their goals, and stressed the necessity of preserving the unity of the southern ranks and working together to achieve the aspirations of the southern people.
The meeting also reviewed a detailed report on the spread of corruption in Yemeni government institutions, noting that this corruption constitutes a serious threat to the economy, security and stability. The Council called for the need to take decisive measures to combat corruption, enhance transparency and accountability, and hold accountable all those involved in corruption cases.< /p>
The Council called on all political and popular forces in the south to unite as one to face the current challenges, and to work together to build a just and prosperous democratic state.
