Renewed clashes between the “Al-Shahari” and “Al-Dumaini” families in Ibb: 18 killed and wounded

Clashes renewed today between gunmen from the “Al-Shahari” and “Al-Dumaini” families in the “Thaoub-Khabaz” village in Al-Udayn District, in the Yemeni Ibb Governorate, in a continuation of an old conflict that extends for years. These confrontations are attributed to interventions by leaders in the Houthi militia. .
According to local sources, the clashes resulted in about 18 deaths and injuries, in addition to fires and destruction of homes and property in the area.
The intensity of the conflict led to a state of panic among the local population, who are already suffering from difficult humanitarian conditions.
Al-Udayn District is witnessing recurring tribal conflicts, the frequency of which is increasing in light of the Houthi militias stoking the tribal conflicts.
