The Houthi group expands the planting of mines in the villages of Hodeidah Governorate

Local sources reported that the Houthi terrorist gang continues to expand mine-planting operations in a number of villages and areas of Hodeidah Governorate, after forcibly displacing their residents during the last period.
The sources explained that the gang expanded the planting of mines in Al-Jarrahi District, Manzhar District, and Al-Durayhimi District, in addition to the coastal areas of Al-Tuhayta and Bayt Al-Faqih districts, where it continued to work day and night in citizens’ homes and in the middle of farms.
This escalation comes as part of the gang’s plans to militarize the coastal areas and turn them into military bases that serve the agendas of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which exposes the lives of residents to serious risks and doubles their humanitarian suffering.
Human rights organizations called on the international community to intervene urgently to stop these repeated violations and ensure the protection of civilians from the crimes of the Houthi gang.
