Today, Sunday, the inauguration of a project to supply three new dialysis machines and chairs to the Artificial Kidney Center at Al Shahr General Hospital, in the presence of the Director General of Al Shahr Directorate, Adel Ahmed Baakaba, the Director of Health at Al Shahr Directorate, Salem Muhammad Al Gharabi, and the President of Al Hekma Al Yamaniyya Charitable Society in Hadhramaut, Al Sheikh/ Issam Abdullah Bawazir,.
The project comes as a generous donation from a philanthropist - may God reward him - in order to alleviate the suffering of kidney failure patients, and in implementation by the Al-Hikma Al-Yamani Charitable Society, which supervised the delivery of the devices and their installation at the center.
In a speech during the inauguration, Director General Baakaba stressed the importance of the project in strengthening health services in the hospital, praising the efforts of Al-Hikma Society and its role in achieving this humanitarian initiative. For his part, Mr. Salem Al-Gharabi explained that the new devices will contribute to improving the quality of dialysis services, expressing his thanks to the philanthropist and the association for this generous donation that reflects the spirit of solidarity and cooperation in society.
Sheikh Issam Bawazir indicated in his speech that this project represents a qualitative addition to the services of the Kidney Center, stressing that the association continues to implement health projects that meet the needs of society and alleviate the suffering of patients, praying to God to reward the donor well and bless his efforts.
The Artificial Kidney Center at Al-Shahr General Hospital is one of the vital centers that serves a large number of kidney patients in the district and neighboring areas, as the new devices will contribute to meeting the increasing demand for dialysis sessions and alleviating the pressure on the current devices.
