The National Movement calls on the Attorney General to investigate the plundering of crude oil in Hadramaut and the establishment of unlicensed refineries

The National Movement for Correction and Construction called on the Public Prosecutor, His Eminence Judge Qaher Mustafa, to open an urgent investigation into the plundering of crude oil and the establishment of unlicensed refineries, outside the framework of the law, in Hadramaut Governorate.
The Correction and Construction Movement said, in an urgent press release issued today, that it possesses evidence and documents proving organized plundering of crude oil in Hadramaut at a time when the authorities are talking about stopping extraction operations under the pretext that exports have stopped for years, in addition to the establishment of about three to four refineries. Medium-sized refining facilities on the coast of Hadhramaut are illegal and unlicensed, affiliated with influential parties, and with the facilitation of the governor of Hadhramaut, they carry out the process of refining the looted crude oil and disposing of it away from the central state treasury in the capital, Aden. Or the Central Bank branch in Mukalla.
