The husband of a teacher at a private school in Aden shot her this morning and seriously injured her before she died later.

A teacher working in a private school in the city of Inma was seriously injured when her ex-husband opened fire on her near her family home. She was taken to Al Salam Hospital and died there.

Eyewitnesses told Aden Al-Ghad newspaper that the husband was waiting for the wife as she prepared to board the school bus, and opened fire on her, wounding her with two bullets, one in the neck and the other in the foot.

The teacher was transferred to Al Salam Specialized Hospital, where she died, while the husband fled to an unknown destination.
