The Obstacles Section of the Public Works Office in Khormaksar District carried out a campaign to remove a number of illegal construction works in the areas north of Khormaksar.

The campaign, which was accompanied by security protection from the Land Protection Unit forces, targeted the removal of a number of foundations and illegal construction works on government lands and public outlets in Jewar Unit 611-614.

The head of the Obstacles Department in Khormaksar, Qasim Al-Dabouli, confirmed that the Obstacles Department, in accordance with the directives of the Director General of Khormaksar, continues to monitor any violations or acts of encroachment on government lands or private property, and remove them periodically and continuously in coordination with the competent authorities.

Over the past years, the Directorate has carried out dozens of removal campaigns and recovered hundreds of acres that had been occupied, and justice was provided to the citizens whose property had been encroached upon and returned.
