The capital, Aden, witnessed a sudden gas crisis that caused severe crowding and long queues in front of gas filling stations, which exacerbated the suffering of citizens in a number of neighborhoods and regions, according to what eyewitnesses reported to the Scoop24 ​​news editor.

Citizens explained that gas stations witnessed an unprecedented accumulation of gas filling vehicles, due to the closure of some stations by directorates of directorates in the capital, Aden. 

Witnesses said that the closure came as a result of decisions taken by officials after discovering violations at some stations, which led to a sudden halt to filling services.

The crisis worsened with the continued absence of immediate solutions, especially after the painful incident that occurred in the Mansoura area months ago, where a gas station exploded due to a gas leak, killing a number of people and destroying private property. The incident, which the people described as a disaster, increased Of anxiety and congestion among citizens who are suffering from a severe shortage of domestic gas supplies.

Many citizens have converted their cars to gas, due to the high cost of petroleum and the price of a can of petroleum reaching thirty-one thousand riyals, and some have been forced to convert their cars to run on gas, the price of which is acceptable to citizens.
