A gas crisis waved on the horizon in Aden due to the suspension of trucks loaded with fuel in Abyan

The capital, Aden, faces an imminent gas crisis after officers and soldiers from the giants brigades stopped hundreds of trucks, including dozens of gas -loaded trucks, in a sector in Al Ain area in Abyan Governorate, which led to obstructing the arrival of vital supplies to the city.
Field sources reported that the sector has been closed for three days, which may exacerbate the crisis, especially with the electricity sector dependent on gas supplies to operate the stations.
This movement comes by the soldiers and officers in protest against what they described as injustice, marginalization and arbitrary separation that they were subjected to by the commander of the fourth division in the Giants Brigades, Nizar Al -Wajih. According to the protesters, an investigation committee has been formed in their case under the direction of Brigadier Abdul Rahman Abu Zaraa Al -Muharrami, and the committee included leaders from the Giants Brigades in addition to the director of the security of Abyan, Brigadier Ali Nasser Abu Mishaal Al -Kazmi, but Al -Wajih later refused the committee’s outputs.
Despite the seriousness of the situation and its repercussions on the lives of citizens, the competent authorities, security services and the leadership of the Giants Brigades continue to remain silent about the continued stopping of trucks and the prevention of gas arrival in Aden, which exacerbates the suffering of the residents and truck drivers.
