Aden sinks into the crowd for the second day due to the traffic strike

I continued for the second consecutive day, on Tuesday, the state of suffocating traffic congestion in the streets of the temporary capital of Aden, as a result of a comprehensive strike carried out by the traffic police, in protest against the attack on the Director General of Traffic Police, Brigadier Adnan Al -Qalaa and his companions, two days ago, by soldiers belonging to the Special Forces camp.
The main and subsidiary streets in a number of Aden directorates, including Crater, Khurmerser and Mansoura, witnessed a great accumulation of vehicles in the midst of the complete absence of traffic, which sparked the discontent of the citizens, especially with the coincidence of the crisis with the end of the Eid Al -Fitr holiday.
The dean of the castle had been attacked in the Al -Arish area of Khormaksar while he was going to inquire about the detention of soldiers from his members by special forces, as he was cordoned off and physically assaulted him with his companions, according to the traffic police in an official statement.
While the Special Forces Command denied any attack, noting that what happened was a security action to verify the identities, human rights and societal calls for those involved and ensuring that such incidents are not repeated that hinder the performance of the security services and citizens lose confidence in state institutions.
The Capital Security Administration, Aden, issued an official statement confirming its follow -up to the unfortunate incident with great attention, noting that the accident does not reflect the principles and ethics of the security establishment, and at the same time confirmed that any transgression that will be dealt with according to the law.
The Security Department announced the formation of an official investigation committee based on directives from the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, to summon the concerned and investigate the circumstances of the accident, and to submit a detailed report within 24 hours of the start of its duties today.
