Pores announces 1050 mines and explosive material

The Massam (MASAM) project to purify Yemeni lands from mines has announced that its field teams have removed more than a thousand explosive materials from the remnants of the war during the past week.
The project operations room said in a press statement on Sunday that mines removal teams removed a total of 1,050 explosive materials from war waste during the period between 12 and 18 April 2025.
The statement added that what was removed last week, diversified between 1,020 unexploded ammunition, 24 anti -tank mines, 3 others anti -personnel, 3 explosive devices, and a disinfection of an area of 221,234 square meters, in the same period.
The "pores" operations revealed that the total of what the teams removed since the beginning of this month, increased to 2,548 explosive materials, including 2,444 unexploded ammunition, 71 anti -tank mine, 10 mines against individuals, and 23 explosive devices, with a cleansing of an area of 414,982 square meters.
The project manager explained; Osama Al -Qusaibi, that the "pores" teams succeeded in identifying and destroying nearly 489 thousand explosive materials, including 327,311 unexploded ammunition, 146,333 anti -tank mines, and 6,780 other anti -personnel, in addition to 8,232 explosive explosive devices, since mid -2018 until now.
Al -Qusaibi added that during this period, the teams managed to purify an area of 66,303,656 square meters of lands within the influence of the internationally recognized government, which was booby -trapped in mines and explosives from the remnants of the war.
