The Undersecretary of Al -Mahra Governorate for Technical Affairs, Engineer Awad Ahmed Keebzan, presided over a meeting to follow up the progress of the implementation of the internal street paving projects in the city of Al -Ghaydah, and to treat torrential water and rain gatherings, in the presence of the Director of the Office of Works, Eng.

He devoted the meeting to discuss the commitment of the contractors to carry out the work according to the approved levels and technical specifications, to ensure the improvement of the water drainage process and its efficiency, in addition to discussing the proposed engineering solutions to treat torrential water and rain pools, especially in the affected areas such as the intersection of the Bin Arair farm adjacent to the El -Sada neighborhood, which witnesses large water gatherings.

These projects fall within the efforts of the local authority represented by the Governor, Mr. Muhammad Ali Yasser, which aims to develop infrastructure in the city of Al -Ghaydah, and improve the services of torrential water drainage services, which contributes to facilitating traffic and promoting public safety with the support and financing of the United Nations Project Services Program (UNOP)
