The Governor of Socotra Archipelago, Eng. Raafat Al -Thaqali, chaired a joint meeting that included the leadership of the Office of Industry and Trade a number of investors and merchants, to discuss the ration plan for the fall of the fall for this year in the province.

The meeting reviewed the rationing plan submitted by the Director General of the Office of Industry and Trade, Mr. Saeed Qarhan, which aims to secure basic food needs and supply adequate quantities to cover the needs of citizens during the next fall.

Al -Thaqali Governor stressed, during the meeting, the importance of concerted efforts to ensure the availability of basic commodities, stressing the need for merchants to implement the supply plan without delay or default. 

The Governor also directed the Office of Industry and Trade to follow up on the progress of the implementation of the plan continuously, and to file reports on any violations that are monitored, in order to preserve the provisional stability in the archipelago.
