The Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, directed the facilitation and acceleration of procedures and transactions for licensing construction and renovation applications.

Lamlas, while chairing, today, Monday, the regular meeting of the directors of the directorates, the Public Works and Roads Office, the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, and the Land Protection Unit, stressed the importance of cooperation with the local community and clearing routine transactions for citizens.

The meeting discussed the progress of revenue development work in the various directorates and executive offices, and the successes achieved in this aspect, where the numbers and statistics provided by the Revenue Development Center regarding the achievements achieved were reviewed and compared to what was reviewed during the previous meeting, with an emphasis on the need to raise the pace of performance. Improving the administrative level and overcoming the difficulties encountered in the workflow.

The meeting touched on coordination and arrangement mechanisms between the local authority in the directorates and the general administration of community committees, while serving citizens in the capital, Aden, and adherence to order and law in work and decision-making mechanisms.

The meeting evaluated the work of the Land Protection Unit during the last period, the positives achieved in stopping random construction and violations in the land file, and the negatives that accompanied the progress of work, stressing the need to correct them to achieve the public interest of citizens in the capital, Aden. The meeting concluded with a number of recommendations and procedures that must be implemented, the most important of which are facilitating and accelerating transactions, controlling the process of licensing the practice of professions, commercial fees, disbursing commercial meters, and various tasks assigned to public works offices in accordance with laws and regulations.

The meeting approved the arrangement and preparation for holding an expanded meeting in the coming days, in the presence of the Military Survey and Lands, to organize work and address the problems facing investment and hindering the work of citizens.
