Zanzibar and Khanfar districts in Abyan Governorate for the third consecutive day are witnessing a continuous interruption in the electricity service, which greatly affected the daily life of citizens, which increased the suffering of the population and made daily life a real challenge.

Citizens express their strong dissatisfaction with these difficult situations with the beginning of the high temperatures, and where citizens, the elderly, children, women, and those with chronic diseases, suffer from the effect of this interruption.

They demand the concerned authorities to take rapid measures from this problem to provide fuel continuously to the power stations, and some have indicated that the interruption has affected the business and led to the stopping of some basic services in the city.
