International immigration confirms the return of 1,234 immigrants to the Horn of Africa

The International Organization for Migration confirmed the return of more than a thousand Ethiopian immigrants that were triggered in Yemen who returned to the Horn of Africa through "dangerous" cruises in boats during the past month.
The organization said in a report that it had monitored a total of 1,234 Ethiopian immigrants stuck in Yemen, who left for Djibouti, during the month of March 2025.
According to the organization, the worsening humanitarian crisis in Yemen "forced some African immigrants to make the difficult decision to return to their countries, while it was reported that the Yemeni government authorities have returned others."
