A security point belonging to the Shabwa Defense Forces - the second brigade, at one of the entrances to the city of Ataq, managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle a quantity of narcotic substances.

Shabwa defense forces indicated in a statement that, during the routine security measures for inspection, 2 kilograms of narcotic hashish, in addition to a quantity of Shabu, was in the possession of the promoter called (NGMS).

The statement of the second brigade, Shabwa defense, confirmed that the repetition of drug smuggling attempts indicates a systematic work and a clear targeting of the province and its youth by hostile authorities, seeking to flood the area with these toxins.

The statement stressed the vigilance of the Shabwa defense forces, along with all security and military units, and their full willingness to address any attempt that would harm the security of the province and the safety of its children. He also called on all honorable people from Shabwa to join hands and cooperate in the face of these criminal acts and protect society from the dangers of drugs.
