The Criminal Court in the capital, Aden, on Monday morning, May 5, 2025, issued a death sentence against three accused persons convicted of the murder of Sheikh Rawi Al -Rawi.

The ruling came after a series of sessions that looked at the reasons for the case, and the court ended with the condemnation of the three defendants, and sentenced them to death in the presence of the relevant judicial and security authorities.

Sheikh Rawi Al -Rawi is one of the prominent preachers in the city of Aden, and he previously assumed the imamate and speech of a number of mosques, and his advocacy and social activity was known before he was killed by gunmen in an incident that sparked a wave of condemnation in religious and societal circles.
