Marib .. The Military Appeal Court begins the trial of the most dangerous cells of the Houthi terrorist militia

The second criminal division of the Military Appeal Court in Ma'rib Governorate held, on Monday morning, its first public sessions to consider a case of the most dangerous cell of the Houthi terrorist militia, led by the name of Abdo Ali al -Samet, after the issuance of elementary rulings against them from the Military Court in the third military area in June 2023 AD.
The Court of First Instance had executed the cell leader in the name of the silent, and sentences of imprisonment for varying periods against the rest of the defendants, with the confiscation of seizures, all property, and expulsion from military service, after being convicted of severe crimes, most notably, the criminal agreement and the intelligence in favor of the Houthi terrorist militias, the disclosure of defense secrets and the raising of coordinates of military and civil sites, which resulted in targeting Direct ballistic missiles, and participating in the implementation of assassinations of military and civilian leaders between 2020 and 2021.
The session was chaired by the head of the second criminal division, Judge Dr. Samir Al -Hajj, and the membership of Judge Dr. Nafi Al -Alafi, Judge Amin Al -Shaibani, and in the presence of the head of the Prosecution of the Third Military Region, Judge Salah Al -Qamiri, and the defendants and their lawyers.
The court reviewed during the session the accusation and initial ruling, and the pits of the appeal submitted by the accused, while the Military Prosecution submitted a payment not to accept the appeals in order to form the legal date for the appeal, and asked the court to dismiss the independence before the transfer to discuss the issue of the appeal.
The court decided to reserve the case to decide the payment, and postpone the session to complete the procedures.
