Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed with Yemeni Prime Minister Salem bin Saleh bin Brik, developments in the situation in Yemen and the region and the efforts made towards it.

The Minister of Defense, during his meeting with Yemeni Prime Minister Salem bin Brik, who was newly appointed to succeed former President Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, affirmed, "Saudi Arabia continues to support the Yemeni government in order to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly and developmental people of Yemen," according to what he mentioned in his account via "X".

Prince Khalid bin Salman added: “I met the state of Yemeni Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Brik.

To that, the Presidential Leadership Council in Yemen had issued a decision to appoint the Finance Minister Salem Saleh bin Brik as a new head of the internationally recognized government, succeeding the resigned Prime Minister Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak.
