Ten aircraft is not insured by the Houthis destroyed

Photographer videos published by activists on social media showed the great destruction left by air strikes carried out by the Israeli occupation aircraft at Sanaa International Airport, in an unprecedented development that threatens new complications in the Yemeni scene.
The videos show direct targeting of the airport infrastructure, which led to widespread destruction in the departure and reception halls, and the services and transactions offices, as well as the destruction of ten planes that were on the ground, including civilian and government aircraft.
According to the same sources, the raids affected three Yemeni Airlines, a shipping plane, and three planes that were out of service, in addition to planes dedicated to the presidency. The viewer highlights the size of the damage to a vital facility, which is an important artery for air transport in the country, especially in light of the continuation of the war and the deterioration of the infrastructure.
In the first official reaction, the Yemeni Airlines company held the Houthi coup group fully responsible for the destruction of its aircraft, noting that the A320-AFA, A320-AFC, and A330-AFE aircraft had been held at Sanaa Airport since July 2024, after they were kidnapped while carrying out humanitarian tasks to transport Yemeni pilgrims to and from Jeddah Airport.
The company expressed in a statement its deep regret for what it described as a "new crime" that is added to a record full of violations by the Houthi militia, considering that what happened embodies the extent of the group's disregard for national interests, and its provision of loyalty to the Iranian agenda at the expense of the suffering of the Yemenis.
The statement added that the destruction of aircraft is not only a heavy material loss, but rather a severe blow to the hopes of Yemenis in traveling, treatment and connection with the outside world, especially in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by millions inside the country.
Al -Yamaniya concluded its statement by emphasizing that what happened reflects a systematic policy to destroy the civil infrastructure, and in continuation of the starvation and isolation approach practiced by the Houthi group, which threatens the remaining hopes of the Yemenis in restoring a normal and stable life.
