The arrest of two Yemeni girls in Egypt and a serious charge against them

The Egyptian security services arrested two girls of Yemeni nationality, from one of the exchange shops, as part of the authorities launched by the authorities for the sources of hard currency in the possession of the expatriate.
Ali Ahmed Al -Tawiti, Director General of the Japanese Exchange Company, said that the Egyptian security authorities arrested two Yemeni girls, from inside the “Al -Ahly Exchange” on 4/23/2025. He pointed to the passage of 17 days since the arrest of the two Yemeni girls and are still in the detainee until now, without any move of the official Yemeni authorities.
Al -Tawiti, the Yemeni embassy, demanded the urgent action and unloading of the cameras of the "Al -Ahly Exchange" to show the truth ..
He explained that the arrest took place on Sudan Street and they are now in the Agouza prison, and that one of the two girls was accompanying her sick mother. Al -Tuwaiti pointed out that the two girls are accusing them of trading in currency, a charge that has been chasing foreigners in Egypt.
During the recent times, the Egyptian security intensified its campaigns against the expatriates, on charges of possession of funds from the hard currency, despite the arrival of many of them for treatment or study, as they are forced to leave the local currency in the dollar or the Saudi riyal, before they travel.
