A 10 -year -old child died as a result of a thunderstorm, in light of the continued wave of heavy rains that hit the area since the beginning of the rainy season.

Local sources indicated that the child “Masoud Mahmoud Mohamed” was killed in the “Three” area, with the isolation of Bani Ahmed, Al -Aden Branch Directorate, west of Ibb Governorate, after he was subjected to a sudden thunderbolt.

Ibb Governorate is witnessing a worrying increase in the number of seasonal rains, as local authorities recorded the death and injury of at least 17 people since the start of the current season, as a result of drowning accidents, home collapses, and frequent thunderstorms.
