Salman Relief reviews the progress of the vocational empowerment project to improve livelihoods in Lahj Governorate

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works team briefed on the progress of training programs implemented in Lahj Governorate within the vocational empowerment project to improve livelihoods in the province.
The center team toured the training halls where the beneficiaries receive vocational qualification and training in the fields of electricity, solar energy, home appliances, carpentry, car maintenance, bikes, hunting engines, and plumbing.
The center’s team also listened to the beneficiaries to explain about the professional skills they receive during the first period of training, as well as examining a number of successful models and experiences from the professional industries completed during the application period of training.
The vocational empowerment project in its first stage aims to find sustainable job opportunities and improve livelihoods for youth through training and entrepreneurship, providing consultations and handing over the profession tools to 70 young men in Lahj Governorate out of a total of 850 young people in 7 other Yemeni governorates.
This comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness represented by the center to find appropriate training courses to enable individuals to provide sources of income and improve their standard of living, and to enhance development efforts in countries with need.
