The murder of the horns of Jiyah market in Hajjah Governorate was rocked on Sunday morning, after a man killed his brother by shooting him from a pistol, in a shocking scene that reflects the increasing crimes of murders among the Yemeni families.

According to eyewitnesses, the victim and the perpetrator descended from the Baraa district in Al -Hodeidah Governorate, and they were on previous family disputes, which developed on Sunday morning into a sharp fight while they were in the Jiyah market, before one of them ended the dispute by withdrawing a firearm and firing a direct bullet that settled in the neck of his brother, which led to his death immediately.

This crime comes in light of the disturbing escalation of family murders in various Yemeni governorates, amid warnings of the exacerbation of this phenomenon as a result of the pressure of war and economic and psychological conditions, which have exacerbated since the Houthi coup against the state.
