The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, and the Commander of the Second Military Region, Major General Talib Saeed Bargash, witnessed today the graduation ceremony of the eighth recruitment batch of the Hadrami Elite Brigade in Mukalla.

The graduation ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Governorate’s Local Council, Saleh Abboud Al-Omqi, the First Undersecretary of Hadramaut, Sheikh Amr Ali bin Habrish, the Director General of Security and Police on the Hadhramaut Coast, Brigadier General Moti’ Saeed Al-Menhali, the Staff of the Second Military Region, Brigadier General Muhammad Omar Al-Yamini, and the brigade commanders. And military units.

Groups of new soldiers presented a sports show that included basic and innovative exercises, fitness exercises, and self-defense sports.

After that, the members of the batch formed the name “Hadhramaut” on their bodies and the number of the eighth batch, and demonstrated the extent of what they had acquired during the period of military preparation in terms of basic skills using weapons, including field signals, close combat, clashes, and self-defense.

They also presented individual skills in disassembling and assembling weapons, in addition to passing vehicles and military raids.

The members of the batch presented a military parade that demonstrated the military capabilities and high readiness of the soldiers in preserving Hadramaut and the homeland and protecting its gains.

The Governor of Hadramaut, Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, confirmed during the ceremony that the Hadhrami Elite Forces are the safety valve of Hadramaut, its fortified shield, and its first line of defense, and that its soldiers will stand on the lookout in the face of saboteurs and those calling for sedition and division.

The governor conveyed the greetings of the political leadership, represented by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Command Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the leadership and members of the Hadrami Elite Forces in the Second Military Region, and his praise of the level of successes achieved by this exemplary force in maintaining security and stability in Hadramaut.

The governor praised the intensive training provided by the recruits of this batch, which made them a complement to the elite forces known for their discipline and high combat ability.

The Commander of the Hadrami Elite Brigade, Colonel Salem Awad Al-Nammouri, expressed his pride in the graduation of this batch in the Field of Pride and Dignity, “Al-Faisal Square,” from which all the epics and heroics began after the liberation of the Hadhramaut coast, including the battle to liberate Al-Messini, the Iron Fist, and the Black Mountains.

Al-Namuri indicated that this batch was trained in various military sciences, combat skills, military discipline, and various types of heavy, light, and medium weapons in theory and in the field, to form a tributary and new blood for the military institution and a force ready to carry out and bear all the grave national tasks and duties.
