The Houthis refused to hand over the body of educational professor Sabri Al-Hakimi to his relatives

The horror of the Houthi opportunistic and criminal behavior continues in Yemen, as the Houthi militia has refused to hand over the body of educational professor Sabri Al-Hakimi to his relatives until today. It is believed that the Houthis refuse to hand over the body to hide the traces of torture to which Al-Hakimi was subjected to death, in addition to using it as a means to blackmail and pressure his relatives.
Al-Hakimi was killed under horrific conditions of brutal torture and medical negligence in Houthi prisons. This is not a rare incident, but rather a usual behavior of the terrorist Iranian Houthi militias towards the kidnapped people. Many innocent people are being kidnapped, tortured and killed by the Houthis without mercy or pity.
The international community must stand firmly against this opportunism and the heinous crimes committed by the Houthis against the Yemeni people.
Those responsible for these crimes must be held accountable and brought to justice, and Al-Hakimi’s body must be returned to his family for burial with dignity and respect.
Ignoring these crimes and allowing the Houthis to continue violating human rights will exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in Yemen and increase the suffering experienced by the Yemeni people. The international community must act now before it is too late to stop this tragedy and save Yemen from the clutches of war and terrorism.
