A gunman kills his wife and her brother following a family dispute in Dhamar

A gunman killed his wife and her brother, in an area of the Wisab Al-Aali District, west of Dhamar Governorate, against the backdrop of a family dispute.
According to media sources, an armed man killed his wife and her brother in the village of Al-Dhalaa, in Makhlaf Bani Shuaib Mahzar, in the Wesab Al-Aali District, Dhamar Governorate, on Saturday evening, following a family dispute between them, which began with assaulting and beating his wife.
The sources added that a dispute occurred between the killer and his relatives, about four days before the incident, due to the perpetrator imprisoning his wife and torturing her. The wife was able to flee to her family’s house and tell them what happened to her, causing disagreements to occur between their relatives and the killer.
According to the sources, on Saturday evening, specifically after the evening prayer, the killer, called “Mahfouz Ibrahim Abdullah,” went to the house of his wife’s relatives, and found only his wife and her brother Ayoub. A dialogue took place between them about returning the wife, but verbal altercations forced Ayoub to On his refusal to return his sister to her husband’s house, and the husband’s insistence that he return his wife by force.
The sources indicated that after the verbal altercation, the so-called Mahfouz pointed his personal weapon at his wife and her brother, and fired two bullets at them, killing them. Then he fled, but the people of the area quickly tracked him down and caught him.
