After heavy rain fell on various areas in a number of governorates, including Abyan Governorate, in which torrential torrential rains closed several roads, Engineer Moeen Muhammad Al-Mas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, main center - the capital, Aden, moved to go to the work sites to supervise and inspect. The Chairman of the Board of Directors and his accompanying team were received upon their arrival at the works sites by Engineer Khaled Al-Humayqani, Director General of the Public Works and Roads Office in Abyan Governorate, and Engineer Muhammad Saleh Al-Wahishi, Director of Abyan Projects at the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, who provided a comprehensive explanation to Engineer Al-Mas about the progress of the ongoing work there. Almas praised the efforts made by the technical teams of the implementing agency in the work of removing flood debris and opening traffic to citizens and their vehicles. He stressed the redoubling of efforts in order to end the suffering of citizens and travelers.
In turn, Engineer Khaled Al-Humayqani, Director General of the Public Works and Roads Office in Abyan Governorate, thanked the efforts made by the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, represented by Engineer Moeen Muhammad Al-Mas, Chairman of the Board of Directors, in the work of removing flood debris since the first moment the road was cut off.
Al-Humayqani said that the direct supervision by engineer Moeen Al-Mas of the work in opening roads on the line extending from Zanzibar to Shaqra and from Ahwar to Balhaf indicates the spirit of responsibility enjoyed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The efforts currently underway, in full swing, target the work of removing muddy waste and stones caused by the floods from the arterial road passing through the Wadi Hassan area, while the teams working in Shabwa are working to open 3 sites on the Jala’ah Balhaf and Hura Al-Nashima coastal roads in Shabwa. Thus, the work It includes removing flood damage in 9 locations, starting from Zanzibar Shaqra and ending with the Ahwar Balhaf coastal line in Shabwa Governorate.
