Hashid described this operation as a major financial scandal, pointing to the size of the annual revenues of the “Yemen Mobile” company during the year 2022, estimated at 220 billion and 365 million riyals, which the terrorist group celebrated as the largest revenue achievement achieved by the company since its founding, and going into the pockets of The Houthis, who have refused to pay employees’ salaries since 2016.
The document published by Parliamentarian Hashed reveals the amount of revenues accruing to the Houthis from “Yemen Mobile” alone, sufficient to pay employees’ salaries for several months, as the company achieved revenues during the past year 2023 amounting to 212 billion and 173 million and 212 thousand riyals.
