A human rights report documents the Houthi militias committing more than 24,000 cases of violations and violations of the truce in 18 governorates.

The Department of Human Rights and Civil Society Organizations in the Office of the Presidency of the Republic documented (24,697) cases of violation committed by the terrorist Houthi militia, including (6557) cases of human rights violations, and (18,171) cases of violations of the humanitarian truce in (18) governorates during the period from April 2, 2022 until December 31, 2023.
The department revealed in a report issued this evening, Tuesday, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that (6557) cases of human rights violations were documented, while the killing of (1245) civilians was verified, including (250) children and (68) women, (37) elderly people, and (890) men, and (2141) others were injured, as a result of direct targeting and indiscriminate bombing operations with heavy weapons and drones.
The report documented (776) cases of kidnapping of civilians, including (26) elderly people, (61) children, and (6) women, and recorded (126) cases of forced disappearance of civilians, including (14) children, (5) women, and (4) ) Elderly people... noting that (170) cases of physical and psychological torture were documented.
The report pointed out that the death of (28) detainees as a result of torture and (22) others as a result of medical negligence in prisons and detention centers affiliated with the Houthi militia was verified. It pointed out that (18,171) violations of the humanitarian truce announced by the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations were documented. The United Nations in Yemen, which began on April 2 unilaterally, noting that Hodeidah Governorate recorded (6,503) violations, Taiz Governorate recorded (3,458) violations, Hajjah Governorate recorded (2,567) violations, Ma’rib Governorate (2,218) violations, and Al-Dhalea Governorate ( 1,661 breaches, Al-Jawf Governorate (1,642) breaches, and Saada Governorate (122) breaches.
The team monitored the number of casualties caused by mines and remnants of the Houthi war, as (472) civilians were martyred, including (139) children, (32) women, and (20) elderly people. (580) others were injured, including (190) children, (49) women, and (19) elderly people. These incidents were distributed among (16) governorates.
The report called on the international community, the United Nations, and organizations concerned with human rights to take practical steps to limit the violations of the terrorist Houthi militia against civilians and release the abductees.
