The Ministry of Civil Service in the capital, Aden, announced the Eid al-Fitr holiday for 2024 AD, starting on Sunday, the 28th of Ramadan, and ending on the 3rd of Shawwal, making it 5 days instead of 4.
According to a circular from the civil service, Eid al-Fitr vacation begins on Sunday, the 28th of Ramadan, and the vacation ends on the 3rd of Shawwal, and official work resumes starting on the 6th of Shawwal.
The Minister of Service’s circular stipulated that the additional day of leave be deducted from the employees’ annual leave balance.
